Nexora was founded by Hiran Shwan, an HR manager with more than 16 years of experience. She spent six years in the Kurdistan Region as Head of Operations for the MENA region at an international NGO, and saw first-hand how much time companies lose on manual HR work.
Today she leads four departments as HR Manager at a construction company in the Netherlands. Nexora brings that European HR practice to the region, in the languages people speak there. Our HR specialists also train your managers and HR team, because people are a company's most important capital.

Does Nexora really work in Kurdish and Arabic?
Yes. The whole system works in English, Arabic and Kurdish Sorani, with right-to-left screens. Each employee can choose their own language, and payslips follow that choice.
Where is our data stored?
You choose: on your own servers, in a private cloud, or hosted by Nexora. With the first two options, your data never leaves your country.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the size of your company. After the free analysis you get a clear plan with dates, including data migration and on-site training.
Can we import our existing Excel files?
Yes. We migrate your employee data, leave balances and salary information from Excel for you as part of the implementation.
Do we need our own IT staff?
No. With the subscription we host and maintain everything. With a licence on your own servers, we install it and support your IT contact.
Does it follow Iraqi labour law?
Nexora has settings for Iraqi labour law, including the Kurdistan Region. We set up leave types, working hours and contracts to match your situation.
